Obstacles
This project main challenge was the direct delivery from Shipper’s site directly to on board vessel .
The Charter vessel initial Berth date was 10th February 2024 , so the 1st 19 Trailers were available on Site the day before 9th morning so the shipper and our trucking team can take their full day to load , lash and move on the roads according the road studies and calculations so we needed 24 hrs from Site to Vessel passing by Road toll station , moving the critical OOGs with care , removing the port gates , finalizing export clearance at port .Unfortunately a force majeure of bad weather ;heavy showers and winds came in front the same day caused the vessel on hold out of anchorage for 4 full days with Dekheila port vessels congestion .
Vessel finally berthed 14th February and job was done during the bad weather in less than 72 hrs and all the Trailers were waiting FAS and all cargo have reached Kalamaki port safely in good conditions .
We faced four days of delays and Trailers waiting FAS which occurred huge amounts of truck detention but due to customer understanding to the force majeure conditions and our successful direct delivery scope of work they have covered these amounts amicably and all parties are satisfied
