1998

The Genesis of First Freight International

In 1998, Mr. Khaled Sabry left Egypt Air to establish First Freight International, representing major shipping companies (Dachser Germany, Jet Speed Hong Kong, NNR Japan, Roadair Netherlands, & others.

2005

A Family-Owned Venture Making Waves in Export Forwarding

Mr. Khaled Sabry founded First Global Logistics, headquartered in Alexandria. It quickly became a top exporting freight forwarder in the US and European markets.

2006

Mr. Khaled Sabry appointed Head of Training Committee at EIFFA

Mr. Khaled Sabry was chosen as the head of the Training committee in EIFFA (The Egyptian International Freight Forwarding Association )

2008

Mr. Khaled Sabry: FIATA ABVT Member

Mr. Khaled Sabry was appointed as a member of FIATA ABVT ( Advisory Body Vocational Training )

2009

Inauguration of FGL Cairo Office Branch

FGL Cairo office branch was inaugurated

2011

EIFFA Board Member & Secretary General

Mr.Khaled Sabry was elected a board member of EIFFA and its Secretary General

2012

Project Cargo Expansion & Leadership Transition at FGL

First Global Logistics expanded into project cargo with a dedicated department led by Mr. Mazen Sabry, representing the company's second generation. FGL Port office inaugurated.

2016

EIFFA Vice President:

Mr. Khaled Sabry, 1st Vice President of EIFFA and member of the advisory board at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, is joined by Mr. Marwan Sabry, continuing the second generation's legacy.

2017

Agent of the Year for Middle East & Africa

First Global Logistics awarded agent of the year for Middle East & Africa for an affiliated network for Projects and heavy lift.

2022

Licensed Port Agent and FONASBA Member

First Global Logistics became a FONASBA member and acts as a licensed port agent

2023

Agent of the Year for Challenging Projects

First Global Logistics awarded agent of the year for the performance under challenging conditions as a recognition from fellow members for many projects executed under challenging circumstances
