Oil & Gas units & accessories movement
First Global Logistics successfully completed the transportation of oil and gas units and accessories for PMICO, a prominent global provider specializing in oil and gas, engineering construction, and heavy industry units and accessories. Our recent project involved the movement of 16 out-of-gauge (OOG) units, including steam boilers, gear motors, tanks with a steel capacity of 35 tons, pipes, and pump accessories. These items were transported from a supplier’s location in Cairo to the Alger port in Algeria, where they were destined for a client’s oil and gas site preparation
Scope of work
Our scope of work included the following :
- Cargo survey @shipper's site determining the mode of transport , exact cargo weight & dimensions , number and type of containers that will be used .
- Lashing / loading & stuffing cargo on 40'FR and inside 40'OT & HC Containers
- Trucking from Cairo site to Alexandria port using 4 Low bed trailers & 2 normal fleet bed .
- Discharging at carrier terminal, port handling and customs clearance.
- Shipping using Maersk lines from Alexandria port to Alger port , Algeria
