Superdimensional Offshore Steel structures to India
The transportation of Superdimensional Offshore Steel structures to India was a unique endeavor. The shipment involved 2 separate deliveries, each consisting of 6 enormous steel structure units. These units were transported from our client’s warehouse in Suez to Mumbai port, on behalf of Cameron Co., for their offshore site in India.
- The successful execution of this project required extensive effort from our team. A thorough transport study was conducted, starting from the supplier's location in Suez, Egypt, all the way to the Hook Adabiya port. This study involved conducting a detailed route survey to identify any potential obstacles along the way. Additionally, we ensured that all necessary road permits and RBA (Roads and Bridges Authority) approvals were obtained prior to the commencement of the transportation process.

- Adabiya port Stevedoring under- Hook
- The Job took a 14 hrs of hard work from Loading –Lashing – Transport – clearance – Obstacles removals – Stevedoring until Hooking on deck
Obstacles
1. Due to cargo Over Width and Height at first sight we had to transport using 2 Contiguous low beds but we found that the road width is so tight for the option which won't work / 2nd option to use Modular trailer which was too expensive for 12 kms distance so it came through our minds to use
only 2 Extendable Low beds its length extensions 25 meter each to carry 3 Units each and to put extra lashing material with driving with the minimum speed for balance and safety
2. Port of loading Adabiya Gates width was about 5 meter and our cargo width is 7.5 m so we had to use Port Emergency gates and remove its steel side doors temporarily until gating in the Trailers using Fork lift and Labors
