Staccato Tower export from Alexandria Shipyard to Shanghai port
FGL received a nomination to re-export a staccato Tower and its accompanying accessories, which were used for lifting a 300-ton crane in the Middle East. The tower was located in the Alexandria Ship Yard and needed to be transported to Shanghai. The shipment comprised various components, including steel tube packages, steel pipes, wires, steel frames, lifting beams, hoists, and more.
- FGL was entrusted with the responsibility of stuffing and lashing the cargo into containers, specifically 4 units of 20-foot dry vans, 15 units of 40-foot high cube containers, ( 4x 20’DV, 15X 40’HC, 4X40FR, 1X20’DV, S/O, 1X40’DV, S/O ) as a single shipment. Additionally, FGL handled the customs clearance and transportation of the cargo from the Alexandria ShipYard to the Shanghai port.
- The total gross weight of the cargo was 625,000 kilograms, accompanied by dimensions measuring 987.41 cubic meters
Scope of work:
- Stuffing the steel pipes into 40’HC ( 196 pipes column , 500*500*650 each)
- Lashing the gulley blocks .( 8 pieces of 100T gulley block 900 kgs each , 7 pieces of 50T gulley block 300 kgs each , 2 pieces of 80T gulley block 100 kgs each)
- 4 top section steel frames had to be put on 4 FR ( with a net weight of 20000 kgs each and dimensions of 8400*3700*32
- Moving the steel frames from the ship yard onto the Flat Rack containers
- Shifting thr full containers to ZIM line export yard
- Export customs clearance
- Shipping from Alexandria old port to Shanghai port
