Oversized Oilfield Steel Frame Transport in Egypt
We undertook the task of locally handling the oversized transport of an assembled steel frame used in an oilfield operation. The transport originated from an oil site located in the Jerabah area of Port Said city (Point A) and was destined for our client’s workshop in Belbeis, Sharkeya city (Point B) for maintenance, marking the first leg of the journey. Subsequently, the second leg of the transport is currently in progress, as we are in the process of moving the steel frame from the workshop to Abu Qir port (Point C), which serves as the final inland destination for export

Scope of work
Our scope of work included the following :
- Mobile crane mob and demob with capacity 100 Ton
- Loading Metal frames at Site
- Lashing and securing
- Route survey and study
- Traffic police escorts
- Road permits
- Cargo inland transport from point A to B and from point B to C .

- 3 Steel structures of Tension Deck Assembly, Beams and Collar supports assembled in 40500 kgs total Metal Frame Unit with Final Dimensions = L*W*H : 10.40 * 7.00 *1.5 M
- Total Transport weight 60 tons
- Vehicle used: Low bed Trailer 6 Axles
- Lifting equipment Used: Liebherr 100-ton Mobile Crane Capacity.
