In this particular instance, we were entrusted with a project involving the transportation from Egypt to the United Arab Emirates, specifically to Abu Dhabi, where our client’s premises are situated
We successfully secured the job by presenting a cost-effective transport solution. The proposed plan involved shipping the cargo from the shipper’s location in Fayoum city, Egypt, utilizing Damietta port as the port of loading.
The distance between these two points amounted to approximately 350 kilometers. Ultimately, the cargo was consolidated into a single shipment, loaded into 11 X 40’FR containers, and transported to Khalifa port in Abu Dhabi
Scope of work
Our scope of work included the following :
- Cargo survey and route survey
- Traffic permits and Road and bridges authority pre-approval for Trucking
- Sending 11 low bed trailers to Site for loading and returning the same day at night in 1 convoy to Damietta port
- Unloading –lashing –securing at Damietta port depot then shifting full Flat racks to Carrier port yard .
- Export customs clearance full Job and documentation
- Freighting until CFR Khalifa port Abu Dhabi
- Shipment successfully loaded on board last week as agreed and planned with the customer .
